Director of Programming
Whether it’s a heavy clean and jerk, their first ring muscle up, or a perfect air squat, Anthony Musemici loves seeing the look on someone’s face when they do what they thought they couldn’t do. In almost two decades in this industry, he’s lead hundreds of groups and instructed thousands of one-on-one sessions for a wide variety of clients. He’s uniquely qualified as a leader for CrossFit Bridge and Tunnel, having opened multiple gyms and taught fitness instructors in various settings. In 2005 he achieved the position of Master Instructor, a title he shares will only 150 Spinning Instructors around the world. Since then he has earned Master Instructor status for Kettlebell Concepts and Cross Core, a suspension training program. He has lead conferences teaching other fitness professionals and trainers, and his experience includes basically the whole alphabet and spans the globe with, among others: WSSC in Miami, DSAC in Washington, DC; the ECA in New York, NY; MindBody Pro in Los Angeles; and Spinning® Experience in the Netherlands.
This background has prepared him to implement programming he knows inside and out. He believes CrossFit is the best vehicle for spreading the message of fitness by educating clients on health, safety, and progress.
Anthony’s proudest athletic endeavor is climbing Mt. Ventoux, part of the Tour de France course, a six-mile bicycle climb at one mile above sea level. Working out in the gym alongside his athletes, his favorite benchmark WOD is “Grace,” and the overhead squat is his favorite lift because of its demand for flexibility, coordination, strength, and perseverance. He enjoys working with all levels of athletes, and especially enjoys helping everyday exercisers achieve their aspirations at the competitive level.
